LOGSY Scheme - INSPIRING WELLBEING BY BRINGING EDUCATION OUTDOORS

Welcome to LOGSY, our dedicated scheme designed to support local schools and nurseries.

Sustainability and responsible conservation are at the heart of everything we do. We understand the benefits of spending time in nature and the positive impact it can have, particularly on young people. We want to give children in our community the opportunity to explore the outdoors, connect with nature, and be inspired by their surroundings. That’s why we’ve created LOGSY. This innovative and exciting initiative brings these values and ambitions to life while helping us give back to our local community. 

Through LOGSY, we partner with charitable organisations in educational settings, such as PTAs, by providing timber stools and benches for forest schools and outdoor learning areas. Each school, college, or nursery is allocated an allowance, which is converted into beautiful, durable timber products ready to be installed at the start of the summer term. Every order you place helps support this initiative.

Here's how it works:

  • For every order over £100, we’ll contribute £4 worth of timber products to your chosen school's reserve.
  • For orders between £40 and £100, £2 worth of products will be allocated.

These contributions go directly towards the production of high-quality, handcrafted stools and benches, made here at JD Logs and delivered to the school or nursery. 

Schools and nurseries are encouraged to involve parents and the wider community to help grow their LOGSY fund. At the end of the spring term, we total up each school’s fund and prepare the stools and benches ready for installation.
